PCSX4 is an experimental open-source emulator for the Play Station 4 from the creators of RPCS3.

It is written in C++ with portability in mind, with builds actively maintained for Windows, Linux and OS X (Android and iOS experimental version).

PCSX4 only emulates a subset of PS4 hardware, and therefore is generally also useful for running/debugging commercial games.

Features

PS4 is based on the x86/64 architecture, which enables PCSX4 to run natively on Windows, macOS and Android by taking advantage of the DEngine, Vulcan API, and hardware-assisted virtualization engine.

This application supports almost all the input gaming controllers that are supported on Windows and Android.

You can even use mouse input for first-person-shooter games.

PS4 and XBox One controllers have plug and play support on this application.

Controller profiles are preloaded into the plugin so that there is no need to configure them.

This emulator lets users tune in-game resolution, add post-processing effects, and extend visual enhancement features.

Graphics settings can be tuned on the fly without reloading the games on Windows, macOS, and Android.

Graphics enhancement, mods, and custom shaders are also supported.

PCSX4 is the first Play Station 4 emulator compatible with Android OS

The mobile version is still experimental, but is able to start most games: as GTA V, God of War 4, The last of us and FIFA 22.

The emulator supports Android 12.0+ (or higher).

Following is a short list of system requirements for running PCSX4 emulator.

Now it supports Android, iOS, MacOS, Linux, Windows and you need Microsoft’s .NET 4.0 Client (for this one).

We also recommend at least 8 GB Memory and a Octa-Core CPU.

Its really hard to give exact system specifications because all games are different.

Also when installing make sure you install everything (Add-ons/Plug-ins) or the emulator might not work 100%.
